Another mucky day today even on the lower fells, but it is supposed to be clear in the afternoon at ground level, so we decide to do a short circuit of the old railway from Threlkeld.
Tomorrow, provided there are no thunderstorms, we are determined to do a 'proper hike'... (In fact we did a pretty good Hartsop Round taking in several peaks)
