LAKELAND HIKE START POINTS
Information on car parks, parking areas and transport routes to the start points of our adventures.
Where the term 'parking area' is used, this is often a layby or a small area to the side of the road. There is usually no parking charge but these areas are small and it is advised to arrive early in the day to avoid disappointment.
Do take care not to block access, gates, or passing areas.

Wainwright regions are used for consistency. Note that the same start point could appear in two regions - for example, walking West from Patterdale takes you into the Eastern Fells, walking East takes you to the Far Eastern Fells...
