INDY SAYS: A nice sandy beach to run around on
Today's forecast is for increasing winds to gale force, and very heavy rain in the afternoon.
After checking the tides (at high tide the beach is only pebbles - the lower the tide the more sand there is), we set of again for St Bees.
As we arrive, apart from strong winds, the weather seems OK
Indy happy to get straight onto the smooth sand
Not many people about, we do meet a couple of other dog walkers
Looking the other way towards St Bees Head
Indy has some fun
in the waves
It's windy, but no matter
Our timing was fortunate - a few hours after this there was torrential rain
