Barrow is a great fell to take someone who doesn't really like fell-walking.
The gradients are smallooth, the path wide and grassy, and good views are obtained despite the relatively low summit height.
Braithwaite is a picturesque village to visit and it has a couple of tea rooms, a shop and pubs.
