The "Wainwrights" are a set of 214 peaks in the Lake District, beloved by hikers and known for their stunning views and challenges. While completing the full Wainwrights challenge is a goal for many, we’re not focused on tackling all of them ourselves. That said, we know some of our visitors may be interested in exploring these famous mountains with their dogs, so we’ve put together a brief sortable overview of the Wainwrights.
Remember, some of these mountains can be steep, and not all routes are suitable for dogs, especially in bad weather or difficult conditions. There could be difficult obstacles, such as ladder stiles. Always consider your dog's fitness and temperament before heading out on any of the more challenging peaks.
