Paw LABWAG FAVOURITES

These are our carefully selected favourite hikes and circuits - click on each one for a detailed explanation of why we particularly recommend it.

Honister ➔ Great Gable ➔ Hay Stacks   (Circuit)
Our favourite Lakeland circuit combines varied terrain, incredible viewpoints and a modular circuit which can easily be shortened or extended.    VIEW

Barrow   (Fell)
Near Braithwaite, perfect for those new to the Lake District or who are not sure if they will enjoy hiking. The fell is accessible and the walk short.    VIEW

Hay Stacks   (Fell)
Wainwright's fell - the one that has it all: tarns, rocky scrambles, fantastic views and different approaches.    VIEW

Buttermere   (Lake)
There are several wonderful lakes competing for favourite - we love Buttermere for its setting and peaceful backdrop. Best enjoyed early morning or out of tourist season.    VIEW

Blea Water   (Tarn)
Blea Water is a stunning tarn in dramatic surroundings just to the East of High Street (Far Eastern Fells)    VIEW
